As a working harbour, Mevagissey teems with life and crackles with energy particularly in the warmer months. You can easily spend a whole day exploring the village. If you do, you’ll notice how the landscape is constantly changing as boats move in and out of the harbour, and people come and go.
Family friendly and full of things to do and see, this traditional Cornish village boasts an eclectic selection of artisan shops, fresh seafood restaurants, an aquarium and a historic museum. For the spiritual soul, we would highly recommend a visit to the magical Lavender Pillow.

There is good seating near the harbour for you to take in the beauty of the scenery. Parking is good for the size of the village but in demand. If one car park is full, you can usually find a space in another one close by.
